INDIAN COUNCIL OF FORESTRY RESEARCH AND EDUCATION (ICFRE 2011)RECRUITMENTS

Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), an apex body in the national forestry research system, has been undertaking the holistic development of forestry research through need based planning, promoting, conducting and coordinating research, education and extension covering all aspects of forestry. The Council deals with the solution based forestry research in tune with the emerging issues in the sector, including global concerns such as climate change, conservation of biological diversity, combating desertification and sustainable management and development of resources.

Name of Post : Scientist-B at ICFRE

Pay scale and allowance: Pay scale of PB-3:-Rs.15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- p.m.
plus allowances as admissible under the rules/orders of the Government of India.

Total No. of Posts: 13 (Unreserved- 06, Reserved for SC-03, ST- 02, OBC-01 and PH- 01).
Description of duties: To conduct research in the relevant field of forestry in ICFRE Institutes.

Post : SIT(Information Technology)

Essential Qualification for SIT(Information Technology) Scientist B ICFRE

(i) First class B.E./ B. Tech. degree in Computer Science from a recognized University.
OR
First class in Master of Computer Applications or equivalent from a recognized University Desirable Qualification
(ii) Ph.D. degree in Computer Science/Computer applications/Information Technology.

How to Apply for Scientist B Position at ICFRE 2011
Interested candidates should submit their application typed on A-4 size paper as per the prescribed proforma given at Annexure-A of the advertisement alongwith attested copies of :-
(i) Certificate of proof of age.
(ii) Certificates, Degrees, Marksheets etc. of educational qualification; proof of
specialization in required discipline.
(iii) Certificate issued by the competent authority in prescribed format in support of claim to belong to SC/ST/OBC/PH, as applicable. In case the certificate is in a local vernacular language, its English translation duly attested by a Gazetted Officer should be submitted.
(iv) Certificate in support of claim for age relaxation/fee concession, as applicable.
(v) In case the qualifying degree (M.Sc./B.E./B. Tech etc.) carries a Grade Point Average (GPA) system instead of Percentage system, the duly certified conversion system prescribed by the educational institution must be submitted to ascertain requisite qualification of “First Class degree” from it.
