Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a Scientific Society of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India invites applications from skilled and experienced professionals from multiple domains for its project requirements at Pune.

About C-DAC: Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier R&D organization of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas. Different areas of C-DAC, had originated at different times, many of which came out as a result of identification of opportunities.

Position Code: PNE/HCDC-WDEV-PE-II/1311
Specialization: Web Development
Number of Positions: 4
Educational Qualification: First Class B.E. / B. Tech with Computer Science/ Information Technology / Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/, Electronics or equivalent or First Class M. C.A / M.C.S. Computer Science or Electronics.

OR

Master in Technology (M. Tech)/ Master in Engineering (ME)

OR

First Class Graduate Engineering Degree in other domains (Such as Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation etc.) with C-DAC’s Diploma In Advanced Computing, Software Technology or other relevant Diploma course in software Development offered by C-DAC along with a minimum relevant experience.
Experience: For B.E./ B. Tech / MCA/ MCS - 4-6 years post qualification

For ME/ M. Tech - Fresher's can apply

Skill Set:
Sufficient experience in J2EE, Core Java, Swings, Struts 2, MySQL / Oracle, XML, Java script, Java Web servers and Application servers (knowledge of AJAX or Flex as added advantage), Familiarity with hibernet, UML

Educational Qualification: First Class B.E. /B. Tech or equivalent in Computer Science or Electronics or IT
Experience: Fresher’s /1-2 years of Experience shall be preferred in installation, networking and maintenance of workstation to high end servers running UNIX/Linux and/or their variants. Exposure to server performance tuning and kernel optimization. Knowledge in shell scripting, PERL and /or Python. Exposure to storage management, backup methodologies, high availability and disaster recovery. Exposure to UNIX / Linux based e-Mail server administration.

Skill Set:
  • In-depth technical understanding and troubleshooting skills in systems administration of UNIX/Linux and/or their variants. e-Mail administration skills are desirable.
